For Canterbury patients
Update
My right hand is so much better now, I still have a little trouble using the small tools when hoovering. I am symptom free at night. However, recently my right wrist has become painful, when any pressure is put on it, even if its even pressure across thr whole wrist. I don't understand why, it has not been injured in any way. It's a bit odd isn't it? Any idea's?

Mixed Aeitiology
Thank you for your prompt reply.
Yes I saw Dr Withrington and had physiotherapy at that time with hot /cold therapy and if I remember correctly a TENS machine was used , neither helped so I had injections in both wrists. Symptomatically they were excruciatingly painful at that time whenever I relaxed , I could not hold anything properly, could not pick up anything with one hand, could not grip the steering wheel , could not even cut up my food so things were very different to this time. The Injections worked very well and I had no real problem for many years.
Bad Hand
Good morning Jeremy
I have my appointment for my wrists but not one for the hand yet, I was just inquiring as to the referral to Mr Andrew Smith had gone through yet.
repeat injection request
Hi
Not sure if this is the best way to contact you but i had injections to both wrists a good few months ago (Anne Weyns). Pain is now back and i was wondering if i should have another round of injections, granted this is a bad time of year for an op for me. Could you let me know how to proceed?

Recurrence of symptoms after injection
Mr Bland, sorry I may have posted this in the wrong place last time (see carpal tunnel topics) basicly, I have previously been diagnosed as having carpal tunnel and have had the injection treatment, the symptoms have returned and i have been refered back to Canterbury to begin the whole process again. is this necessary or can I just arrange further treatment with you via this website?
Injection ?
Hi Dr Bland
You called me back after my visit when you were on holiday and gave me the ultra sound scan. It appears I do ave cts after all and you suggested the injection in my right hand.
I have thought about it and as the symptoms are not too bad I am not sure about the injection. Should I have the injection now or wait to see if the symptoms get worse.
I would appreciate your advice .
