For Dr Bland. You 'discharged' me after my appointment on 23 Aug. I should have sent an update after a couple of months. Sorry for lateness. I have never had symptoms in my right hand. The improvement in my left hand has continued steadily. I now have only a very mild numbness in the tips of fingers 1,2 and 3 and none in the thumb. (I have never had symptoms in finger 4). Most days I am not aware of any numbness at all. I am not sure I can add anything else. I am very pleased. If I do regress, I shall let you know. In the meantime, thank you.

I last had an injection to my wrist in May. This was very successful at the time but within the last 2 to 3 weeks the problem has returned to my left hand only. This has given me severe numbness and pain that is keeping me awake at night. I would be grateful if I could have another injection as soon as possible.

Dear Dr Bland,

After having successful surgery on my right hand in February/March this year. My left hand is now becoming unbearable. I had steroid injections in both hands back in February 2015. Is it possible to make an appointment please.

Hello, would it please be possible for an appointment to come and see you again. My left hand has deteriorated a lot lately, numb finger tips, pain in my wrist and numbness at night. I have been wearing my splints but its not making any difference.

Appointment Needed

Hi,

I had my right hand operated on last year and at the same time I had a further injection in my left hand. The injection in my left hand has now warn off and I would like to get my left one operated on, as it is extremely painful at night and constantly numb during the day. Please let me know what the next steps are or when you can see me?

I had surgery on my hand a few years ago now and the pain is now getting really bad in both hands but the right one is the worse. Do i need to go to my drs surgery to be referred or can you send me out an appointment ??

Injection

Hello Mr Bland.
Could you please make me another appointment to have another injection in my right wrist.
I had the operation on my elbow in February this year which seems to have helped with the numbness in my little finger. I still have bad aching come back approx every six months in my wrist and numb thumb and fingers in the night. Once I have had the injection it does stop the aching and numbness. Thank you

Painful wrists & hands

Morning Dr Bland, I last had my right wrist injected in February this year which has been effective up until last week. I have suddenly developed pain, swelling & weakness in both hands together with some numbness so I'm splinting again at night.
The pain seems to be mainly in my wrists & knuckles but different fingers are affected at various times! The weakness is very worrying so I wondered if I could come & see you again for a review please.
