Canterbury CTS Appointment
I went to see a Mr Moses at St Stephens surgery, he told me that I was being referred to Canterbury to have a nerve test, this was after he had talked me out of getting a steroid injection. So far I have not received anything from the CTS department regarding any referral. This happened mid August and it is now November.
Questionnaire updated
Hello,
I have updated the questionnaire - ref number 222500.
Please advise next steps. It is affecting my daily routine/work.
Thanks.
Questionnaire
Hello,
I have completed the questionnaire.
What happens now?
The pain and ability to carry out tasks is getting worse and worse
Alternative treatments
If you had to choose between the two alternative treatments to use which would you rather choose, ultrasound therapy or CtrAC.
New patient
I have completed the questionnaire as advised by my doctor Quest ID 222216. A scan was performed at my Dr surgery and it was detected that there is compression on both wrist, I have suffered with this syndrome for years and think I have attended clinics in the past.
Is mine severe enough to warrant surgery? Can my lifestyle be the cause? (21M)
Hello everyone,
I was seeing an Orthopaedic doctor for other reasons (shoulder/neck issues) and he took an EMG test to see if my shoulder instability/other problems and found I have bad CTS for being a 21M y/o male.
Vitamin b6
So I decided to try the b6 route but am going to cease it as I believe it may be causing issues or it’s just in my head. Either way I’m ceasing the use.
I’ve been taking 100mg a day for about 5-6 days and today I started feeling tingling in my pinky toes. I’d like to believe that it would take much longer and a much larger dose for neuropathy to appear. Do you agree with this? And if this is a symptom, will cessation reverse this issue?
Remember I’ve only taken 100mg a day for 5-6 days, no more.
Depressed and cursed with both diseases
I have carpal tunnel in both hands and cubital tunnel in both elbows. Woke up this morning with both pinkies and rings numb on both arms. Having elbow pain in both. This is really affecting my quality of life and I have no money for surgeries. The carpal tunnel has improved but this new elbow thing is stirring turmoil mentally. I really don’t know what to do doc. I feel like I can’t move forward with my life with this. We’re talking over $30,000 in surgeries and tons of recovery time. There has to be a better way.
Cubical tunnel
So while my carpal tunnel is getting better. My pinky and rings are going asleep at night. Does cubical tunnel go away on its own? I’ve read that this syndrome will cure itself more so than carpal tunnel will.
