Cubical tunnel
So while my carpal tunnel is getting better. My pinky and rings are going asleep at night. Does cubical tunnel go away on its own? I’ve read that this syndrome will cure itself more so than carpal tunnel will.

Quitting marijuana and REM sleep
OK so here this goes. I had been an avid marijuana smoker for about eight years straight every single day. I always use the excuse because I’m a bodybuilder that I needed to eat so I continue to smoke. I suddenly cold turkey quit a week ago because for some reason I have no interest no longer to smoke anymore. And this can be a good thing! However I notice I am having extremely vivid nightmares and dreams. Just now for example I had taken a nap and I did put my braces on. I woke up with my hands feeling tingly but not in the same sense of a carpal tunnel numbness.
Questionnaire taken
I have taken questionnaire number: 221942
I am also booked to receive a steroid injection on 1st September 2020.
Fingers falling asleep
So as you know from my previous posts I have been wearing a splint every night to go to bed. And I have not had any numbing of the hands in a very long time. But last night I ended up waking up with some of my hand and my fingers numb. However I was in that intermittent Sleep where I was in and out. I feel I could have possibly fell asleep turned on my side on my left elbow. My question is, is Can falling asleep on your arm cause numbing of the hand and fingers and not have anything to do with carpal tunnel? Also my elbow is sore today as if that was what was happening.

Injections for surgery
So I have been researching a lot of studies with injections and surgery lately on the topic of carpal tunnel. I saw study I am still looking for it I will post it when I find it again, where it stated that surgery tends to have a better long-term benefit but however a side effect is that they lose their grip strength. With injections 1/3 of the patients tend to have an extremely long result and users tend to get their grip strength back more so with the shot. I also have a question on muscle wasting. Do you think muscle wasting happens with mild to moderate symptoms? Or only severe symptoms?
