Left hand becoming worse....

Thanks in advance

Post op
I am 4 weeks post op and still finding it hard lifting heavy things etc. Just wanted to know if this is normal? Also I was hoping to get the other hand done before Xmas but my follow up for my first hand is not till December. Maybe it's not a good idea seeing as I'm still having pain etc in the hand that has been done.
Regards
Vicky
Injection success story
Following a steroid injection in each of my wrists on 16 October I am pleased to report that my symptoms virtually disappeared within a few days and I have now been more or less free from all symptoms for coming up 3 weeks.
Ultrasound Trial
I completed the 7 week ultrasound trial yesterday & during this time, I've worn splints each night. This treatment has reduced my symptoms greatly & I haven't suffered from pins & needles or pain throughout. As I've now completed the trail I thought I'd see if my symptoms returned if I didn't wear the splints & they did! I woke twice during the night with pins & needles & woke with painful hands in the morning. Maybe I was unlucky & didn't receive the live ultrasound but back to wearing the splints each night for me!!!
Brace not working
Hi my Carpal Tunnel in my right wrist is getting worst I'm having more numbness and unable to use my hand at times I think I need the next treatment the injection because the brace is not working as effectively any more. hope to hear from you soon. Paul D

CTS Injection Update
Hi Dr Bland
I had my injection on the 25th September in my left wrist. I found the injection painless, although there was some discomfort and stiffness for a few hours after. I am please to report that although I am not completely symptom free I am finding it 70% better than it was before. I seem to have more strength in the hand and only wake up occasionally in the morning with numbness, I have not had any numbness or pain during the day like I did before the injection.
Symptoms returning after 18 months
Hello. After having a steroid injection in my left wrist in April 2012, I have been symptom-free until 3 weeks ago. The tingling, and jabbing pains, although spasmodic, are gradually returning in both hands, left worse than right (I'm a southpaw). I am keen to prevent this getting any worse. I have made some minor changes with my driving position (commuting 1 - 2 hours daily); and at work with my desk and chair which has helped. Unfortunately I have lost my wrist splint (L).
