POST INJECTION

TO DR BLAND Having had my injection on the 7th Nov `12 which turned out to be nothing more than a pin prick , no more than one on your scale . Comparing this to a Tennis Elbow jab it is absolutely nothing , but whereas the elbow jab brings almost instant relief the C.T.S jab took about six days to provide full relief . Previously when playing Golf i was in a lot of pain , and my grip was very weak in my middle two fingers . Being a Publican the weakness in the right hand was almost as bad as the pain i was getting from it .

Wrist splint

Within a few days of starting to wear the splint on 15th November the tingling abated. I now wear it every night and have very little tingling.

Symptoms returned

Hi following my injections in june 2012, the symptoms have returned in my left hand with tingling and numbness and waking me when lying on my side, right hand can tingle but very mild, is it possible to have another injection in my left wrist?

Dear Dr Bland Its now been 10 days since my injections, there was some doubt if they would work, it took a couple of days to take effect but everything ok now.

48hrs Later...

Hi Dr Bland just thought I would update you on my operation and recovery 48 hrs later.

The EMLA cream worked quite well and as Dr Rine said the pain I had with the local anaesthetic in my right hand was much worse than my left which was really bearable. The op was again done very efficiently and the staff at Herne Bay were great. My left hand was completely numb on Saturday and by lunchtime yesterday started to 'defrost', with the swelling decreasing rapidly.

Appointment

Just a quick message for Dr Bland. I am definitely available for next Thursday morning to have the ultrasound on my hand.
Regards Kirsty wood

2nd Injections

Dear Dr Bland Visited Dr Miles at Wye surgery yesterday for 2nd course of injections,at the moment apart from a slight tingling in fingers everything is seems fine, will give it a couple more days to see if this goes away.

Symptoms have returned after injection

Hi Dr Bland

I saw you earlier in the year and had my first injection at Wye surgery in mid August. Unfortunately my symptoms returned 2 weeks ago worse than before. I have been to my GP today but I was told I cannot see you again because you only do the diagnosis. Is this right because I am not sure what to do now?
They have told me I can either be refered to the William Harvey Hospital, Westview or Benenden. Canterbury is not on the list.
Thank you for your advice.

Appointment needed for injection

Earlest appointment I can get at Whistable is for the 23rd January.
Can I have in clinic please, on a Thursday morn, as early as possible please.
