Numbness returns after injections

I had injections in both wrists about 3 months ago and now the numbness has returned. As I have been told that this condition can permanently damage the nerves, do I need to go to my GP again to arrange a visit to the Canterbury clinic to see Dr. Bland?

Owing to another patient cancelling,pre-op for saturday became pre-op and surgery.Quite a surprise!!!! All seemed to go well,my thanks to Dr.Rine and colleagues and to yourself.Will let you know any developments.K

Injection follow up

Nearly 2 weeks post injections, the right hand feels normal, the left has occassional slight pins and needle in thumb and finger tips, but a vast improvement on before. I did have a slight bruise on the left wrist for a week so maybe it will need a bit longer to improve.

return of Carpel tunnel after injection

Hi . Had Carpel tunnel steroid injections on 30/07/12. Worked only for a couple of months. Symptoms seem worse now than before. Wearing wrist splints in bed but still keeping me awake. Would like the possibility of surgery.thanks Debbie

Goodmorning, sorry to bother you again.....

The fingertips and side of fingers that are numb and the palms of my hands get very itchy sometimes, I read this is another symptom I just wanted your input?

I have done ncs on july 2012.The result was grade 2 for both arms.. I am using wrist splint for both arms during night time .Now the symptoms are much worse.I would like to do surgery. Can you kindly advise me in regards?

Symptoms

Hello me again, sorry for yet another question!

I mention in my previous posts that the numbness is worse in my right hand, thumb side ring finger tip and middle fingertip, I have noticed this evening that my ring finger thumb side also feels numbish, is this yet another normality?

1 week on from my injection

The day of the injection showed a vast improvement, no problems driving home. Was able to sleep for the first time in 6 months on my (L) hand side without my (R) side going numb. Wrist was a bit sore for a few days but no muscle pains. Able to pick things up at work with that arm. Still pains in (R) arm, perhaps more noticeable now the (L) one is better. On Day 4-5 had pain in (L) armpit and in shoulder which seems to have settled.

Appointment 15th December, Dr John Rhine, Herne Bay

Dear Dr Bland
I attended you at Kent and Canterbury Hospital on 22nd October when you gave me an appointment with Dr John Rhine at his Herne Bay Surgery for a pre-operative visit on the 1st December and operation on the 15th December. I have today received a letter from the William Harvery Hospital, Hayley Smith's Outpatient Clinic for the 21st November!?

Has the original appointment in Herne Bay been cancelled for some reason, as I did choose to go there for the sake of speed. Obviously the 21st November is sooner, but will the operation be?
