Injection worn off

Injection in my left wrist appears to have worn off, is it possible to have operation on left hand at Herne Bay again. Right hand has been very successful, symptom free.

Tingles after steroid injections

Hi all

I had stereoid injections yesterday at 3.30pm. My hands were hurting last night, not as much this morning. However, I have pins and needles in both hands, particularly in my right hand. I get this anyway due to Carpal Tunnel but it's a little worse than normal at the moment. Is this right?

Thanks
Sharon

Post Treatment Feedback

I am happy to report that after having the injection on 31 May I got almost total relief after 2 or 3 days. I still get slight pins and needles when riding my bike for 45 mins or more, pre treatment I got them after 10 mins and really severe.so I am very happy with the outcome.
Thank you to the Canterbury team!

Post operative check up.

I had the operation on my right hand on 29th April 2017. Although it has been slow to heal, something doesn't feel quite right around the operation site. Would it be possible for you to organise an appointment at your clinic just to make sure all is OK
Many thanks
Jackie Huntley

Post surgery

Hello Dr Bland,

I had a carpal tunnel release surgery on the 7th of July and would like to share my experience and thoughts. I also have some doubts and would appreciate your opinion.

Surgery was performed on the right hand and by Dr Smith. From my point of view I would say, that it is too early to determine if surgery was successful or not. Therefore I am going to write further comments on this topic as time passes.

New Questionnaire Completed

Dear Dr Bland

I have completed the questionnaire as requested. As I suspect, it turns out the symptoms in my left hand have worsened. May I have an appointment to discuss possible surgery on that one as well? I had the right hand done in August last year.

Best regards

Treatment has solved my carpal tunnel

I attended hospital in Canterbury and had a steroid injection on 5 June. My symptoms vanished within 2 days and i have no problems at all now. Very pleased and hope it lasts for some time!

Pain has returned

I have had 2 steroid injections done in my right wrist which the last 1 I think was September last year but for the last couple of months the pain has returned I have left it a while hoping that i could live with it but I'm finding it very difficult I was wondering what we could do next look forward to hearing from you

Update followinng injections

Morning, I had my second round on injections six weeks ago and Emma asked me to drop you a line with some feedback. The injections have certainly had a positive effect again but I can feedback that the reduction in my symptoms is not as effective as with the first set of injections. The first time round my symptoms ceased completely whereas this time I am still having numbness and a mild tingling sensation in my fingers/hands from time to time. It is not often and I am happy wtih the results and do not want to pursue any further treatment at this time.
