Carpal Ligament Rejoining?
I had carpal tunnel release just over 2 weeks ago, 26 March. The wound looked neat when completed, with 3 stitches; CT symptoms ceased immediately The surgeon used a tourniquet, and in the two or three days afterwards, the hand became very swollen, and subsequently bruised heavily, which didn't worry me much, as bruising fades anyway.
Tingling, numbness and pins & needles
Hi, I was wondering if anyone else just had constant tingling, numbness and pins & needles, but no definite pain? I am not convinced that my symptoms are related to CTS. Also I have a splint to wear at night, but am unable to wear it as it makes my symptoms worse. Also my Doctor didn't tell me how long to use the splint before I return to see him. Thanks
I am in absolute agony
My fingers and thumb is so bad I literally feel like cutting them of. It sounds silly but the pain is unbearable. I'm hardly sleeping as soon as I relax it triggers it and makes it worse. My arms suffer terribly to especially at night time. I am taking a cocktail of strong painkillers but nothing helps my assessment with plastics is not till the 15th of April.
Please help any advice????
Steriod injection 4 week ago
Hi there
New to forum and from Yorkshire
I've had CTS since October 2013 with the constant pins n needles tingly feeling, I've had the nerve tests done blood tests and even a splint fitted.. My GP said as long as I'm not wearing it all day and night I'm ok I've just to do what's comfy for me and relieves the symptoms.. I can't seem to wear the splint on a night and if I don't use it over the duration of the day it severely affects my work.. I've had to change my mouse settings to left handed one which has taken some getting used to as I'm right handed.
No feeling in middle finger
I had Carpal Tunnel release surgery 13 hours ago, as the anesthetic has worn off the feeling in my middle finger is completely gone and the fingers on either side have seriously reduced feeling. The middle finger is also difficult to fully straighten out.
Stress related?
Is there any evidence to suggest CTS could be linked to stress?

CT release post op problems
Hi there, new here and hoping for some advice on my CTS port op problems.
About 5 months ago I got a sudden onset of CTS in both hands, it may have been latent as sometimes sleeping funny made my hands numb for day or so, but I think it may have been caused or made worse by some chemicals in paint.
Intially the Dr confirmed CTS and discussed the options and so I tried injections to see if this would ease the conditions. One was painless and the other very panfull.
Why has a steroid injection made my CT worse!!
I have had CT for about 10 years, and received a steroid injection in my wrist 8 years ago form my GP in the UK and noticed a huge improvement in just a few days. However it has returned quite badly. I visited a recommended surgeon on Samui who said that it had become much more acute and I needed surgery asap but I asked for another injection just to get me
Advice needed
Hi All,
I'm in need of some advice as I'm a bit stuck on what to do as my GP has been telling me it will go away but hasn't..
So around 3 years ago i had issues with my wrists aching while working and shooting pains in my fingers i went to see a physio which helped with this and hadn't had an issue untill Christmas time this year.
The issues i have been having in both hands are, stiff fingers, pains in all of them at some point, now and then i'll get a tingling feeling in the tip of my thumb and index finger, wrists aching, weakness in the hands and wrists and pains in my elbows.
